Our Parliament
Pupils voted onto our School Parliament have the opportunity to develop social and moral responsibility.
Aims Of Our School Parliament
To generate ideas.
To share ideas through debate.
To decide on an agenda.
To provide minutes open to all pupils.
To develop an action plan.
To make a positive difference to our school community.
What Does Our School Parliament Do
The School Parliament meets with Miss Wordsworth every fortnight to discuss upcoming events in the school calendar and sort out problems. These may include school lunches, behaviour or ideas for fund-raising events.
Members of the School Parliament will be responsible for carrying out the ideas that have been agreed.
Who’s Part Of Our School Parliament
A School Parliament is a group of students who are elected to represent the views of all pupils and to improve their school. Each September, children in each class are given the opportunity to be voted to represent their class as a Member of Parliament. Each class votes for two students to represent their class in the School Parliament.
